Ah, the platypus. Could it ever fail to arouse the interest of a young man such as Justin Bieber? The platypus is, as Justin merrily bellows, a monotreme, one of the few egg laying mammals. It also has venomous claws - I bet Justin is glad the other hot young celeb fools don't have those! If Paris Hilton or Kim Kardasian or whatever the hell young famous women are called nowadays had venomous claws, they could swipe at young Justin if he tried to get into their limos to share a ride home after a wild night dancing at the nightclubs and discotheques and gin mills, and that would be the end of him! Who would care for his pet monkey then?
Of course, as Justin no doubt knows, it is only the male platypus that has the venomous claws. In reality, he would be quite safe.
